At Study Hall Hoops, we treat the gym like a classroom. Players come here to grow, learn, and ultimately take their basketball games to the next level. With locations at Flintridge Intermediate School (FIS) Gymnasium and St. Francis High School (SFHS) Father Alphonsus O'Connor Memorial Gymnasium, the gym is the heart of everything we do at Study Hall Hoops. It's where we bring our motto to life:

Getting Here
“The CLASSROOM” is conveniently located in the heart of La Cañada Flintridge, making it easily accessible for local families at both of our welcoming sites.
Directions:
- From Pasadena: Take the 210 Freeway to the Foothill Blvd exit. For FIS, turn left onto Cornishon Ave—FIS will be on your right. For St. Francis, continue straight or turn right onto Foothill Blvd—the school entrance is shortly ahead on the right.
- From Glendale: Head north on CA-2 to Foothill Blvd. For FIS, turn left onto Cornishon Ave. For St. Francis, continue on Foothill Blvd—the school is on the right, up the hill.
- Parking: Free parking is available at both school lots (St. Francis has its own parking structure) or on nearby streets. No parking fees, ever—keeping it simple for our families.
Why “The Classroom”?
We call it “The Classroom” because it’s where learning happens—on and off the court. Our state-of-the-art gymnasium at Flintridge Intermediate School provides:
- Spacious Court: Plenty of room for drills, games, and sparring sessions.
- Safe Environment: A clean, well-maintained facility designed for youth sports.
- Community Hub: A local gathering place for players, parents, and coaches to connect.
This is where we host our USA Basketball-partnered League Challenge Games, Skills Clinics, and more, all tailored to help players grow stronger, smarter, and more confident every day.
