What is USA Basketball League Challenge - Study Hall Hoops partnered with USA Basketball to bring a premium youth basketball league to our community. All games follow official USA Basketball rules, regulations, and developmental standards; which ensures every player gets a professionally standardized experience.

How is USA Basketball League Challenge different - USA Basketball League Challenge was created specifically to address the biggest challenges of modern day youth basketball:

  • Convenience - All games are played locally, right here in our community. No long distance commuting to/from games... And definitely no hotels.

  • Competition - Balanced teams result in more competitive games. Proprietary individual player ratings are used to assemble well-balanced teams each season, ensuring a curated competitive experience.  No super teams with lopsided game scores... Just solid matchups every game.

  • Coaching - Study Hall Hoops coaches work collaboratively and have joint responsibility for all league players.  This results in every player getting a consistent, high-quality development experience.  When the emphasis on winning and losing games is removed from the experience, the priority for coaches magically shifts to player development.

  • Cost - Study Hall Hoops keeps it simple; provide real value at a competitive price.  Study Hall Hoops monthly membership includes participation in USA Basketball League Challenge as well as ALL monthly sessions - FRIDAY Open Runs, SATURDAY Clinics, and SUNDAY Shooting. No parking fees.  No admission fees. No hotels.

Additional Details:

  • Age Levels - Middle School Division (12U-14U) and High School Division (15U-17U).

  • Grade Levels - Middle School Division (grades 6-8) and High School Division (grades 9-12).

  • Location - All games played at Flintridge Intermediate School (FIS) Gymnasium, aka “The Classroom”.

  • Schedule - Games scheduled every Sunday.

  • Times - Games times are 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM.

  • Requirements - Study Hall Hoops monthly membership ($250) required to participate. One time registration fee ($100) required; which includes uniform.

NOTES:

  • Availability is limited. There are only four (4) game times scheduled each week and rosters are limited to seven (7) players; which means there are a limited number of roster spots possible.

  • Existing monthly members will be given registration priority.
